New member in the PORTLAND, OR area

I just wanted to take a quick moment to introduce myself. I have been reading and following for a few weeks now and have been fortunate enough to connect with a few of you, and even meet for coffee at least once.  I live in Wilsonville with my wife and two children and have worked in transportation for my entire career. I have always been interested in real estate but just recently decided to think more strategically about the industry in an effort to diversify. I intend to be more of a passive investor, but I want to learn as much as I can. I am interested in syndication, and multi family investing so far. 

I have to say, this is an impressive group. I really hope I can find a way to add value in the long run, but for now I am just looking to listen and learn. Thanks for being such an open and welcoming community!
