New member from Wilmington, NC. I’m here to learn the art of flipping houses in my area. Do the flips to raise enough capital to buy some rental property and live of the passive income. Thanks for having me, super happy to be in the community!

A lot of forum members are experts in their respective fields related to real estate investing, whether that is real estate sales, wholesaling, flipping, buy and hold investing, lending, self-directed IRA and Solo 401k investing, or tax and legal guidance.

Hi @Cameron Pleasant and welcome to BP! It looks like you have the same plan as myself, I need to generate enough capital to keep things moving and invest in long term rentals. Have you read about the BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) strategy? If not, you can check it out here https://www.biggerpockets.com/blog/brrrr-buyrehabr... What I like the most about this strategy is that you get to keep the property you've just flipped so that you can immediately begin to build passive income. All that hard work that went into finding and renovating the property can be kept to build on.
