Hello Bigger pockets community.
Apparently my initial welcome to the community was frowned upon because I mentioned the desire to "build partnerships". Heaven forbid I that I came to a social media community of real estate investors with a mindset that'd I'd be able to network; foolish me.
Since i'm not allowed to build partnerships with other start up investors in my local community, I'll say I'm here to make "friends". Please everyone lets be best friends watch game of thrones drink some beer and talk about real estate. Don't tell bigger pockets though, they're not invited to the beer /game of thrones real estate chat. *I am only half joking ;)*
Jokes aside, I'm a young Active Duty Sailor based in Oahu. I'm about to sell my first ever property and am excited about its prospects. As you can tell, I enjoy a sense of humor. If you're interested in chatting about real estate or looking to meet other REI startups in Oahu, shoot me a message.

@David Pere Hey man! Sounds good but man y'all are far. You ever host any by Kapolei? Not gonna lie i'm probably gonna start one next weekend after all the Game of thrones parties go down haha.

No, I'm a newbie still trying to learn the ropes, and looking for a market to set my mind to. Prices in Hawaii are very similar to those here in San Diego, but I bet Hawaii would make for a great place to invest in vacation property. I love Hawaii, great place to surf.

@Justin Vasquez no I don't. This will be my last one though, I've got orders to San Diego this summer. CJ Calio hosts a meetup in Kapolei though...should be able to find it on meetup or FB perhaps?

@David Pere Sounds like you're about to make a big change soon then. How does the move affect your current model? Does it impact anything? Are you gonna start another REI when you get to San Diego?

@Justin Vasquez Not much just gets me closer (in terms of timezone) to where I invest the majority of my time/money for real estate. Also, more options for authentic tacos, and in-n-out (the important things in life)

They usually have a speaker talk about a given topic for about an hour and then the rest of the time is open for networking amongst the group. This month's speaker is a lawyer who will be talking about asset protection, etc.
