Hello everyone in Bigger Pockets land!

My name is Wayne Norman, I am new to Bigger Pockets, and this is the beginning of my real estate investment journey. I am living in Knoxville, TN and this is the market in which I plan to start investing. I plan on investing in rentals and flips. I may try my hand at wholesaling but there are still a lot of uncertainties for me regarding that strategy.

I originally got the itch to start investing in real estate a few years ago but I wasn’t ready to jump in. My excuse was not wanting to get involved in something I had no idea how to do, and not wanting to lose money because of that lack of knowledge. 

I stumbled onto Bigger Pockets one day a couple of weeks ago on YouTube and now I’ve definitely got the bug to get this thing going. I am currently reading everything I can get my hands on relating to real estate and listening to every podcast that I have time for. 

I have experience in residential building and commercial excavation and I am hoping that those skills help me out in this endeavor.  

In closing, I am looking forward to meeting some like minded individuals in the Bigger Pockets community and hopefully gaining as much knowledge as possible. Thank you all for your time and the seemingly never ending amount of information.
