Is paying cash for single family rentals a bad idea?

I am in a unique situation where we can purchase SFR with cash. I am trying to build a big stream of passive income. The strategy has been working directly with owners and found a good wholesaler so that we can buy 10-20% below ARV. Don't know why but feel weird buying all of these with cash into our LLC. Any other ideas How I should look at this from a liability perspective?
