Think of a book youve read in the last 3 months that you gleaned the most knowledge from. Share with the group the title and author and one reason why it was so great!
The book of Ecclesiastes . It’s about the richest man in the world at that time having everything he wants but realizes it’s all in vanity . It’s deep and makes you realize what’s important and how everything is passing away .Many lessons can be found in it about wealth and the pursuit of happiness.
@Jeffrey Douglas last year I set a goal of reading (or listening to) 60 books, I hit that and am shooting for 75 this year. A lot of the ones on the list already have been great. One I didn’t see is Jen Sincero... You are a badass... great mindset book on perspective and how to look at and change your circumstances.

That and Proverbs too, the whole Bible is full of so much wisdom.
Proverbs 1:7 KJB The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
I recently read “Start With Why” by Simon Sinek. It explores why some companies dominate a market space while others exist in it. It brings to light why some brands i.e.Harley Davidson that people actually tattoo their logo. It’s a hell of an intriguing book.
For someone that lacks intrapersonal skills or salesmanship, I recommend "The Introvert's Edge" by Matthew Pollard. He demonstrates a seven-step process to help you succeed in selling a product.
Hi Jeffrey - Great thread! Thanks for thinking of it! As they say... knowledge is power!
Can you assemble a GoogleSheet or XL spreadsheet with all the book Titles / Authors / Any pertinent notes for all of us to access & download / print? Maybe via a public Google-Drive link ?
@Jeffrey Douglas 21 Lessons for the 21st Century - Yuval Noah Harari (Also the author of Sapiens, another great book)
Anyway, this book talks about the technological developments that are coming FAST. When they come, what does it do to the way we live? It talks a lot about the growth of AI.
Honestly, the book made me excited for the future and opened my eyes to thoughts and issues that weren’t even on my radar, but should be.
I'm in the middle of Shoe Dog. The book is a captivating read. Phil Knight's initiative and ability to outwork everyone else is super motivating. Guy didn't take no for an answer.
It’s a fantastic mindset book that talks about the implications of the little decisions you make every day, and how those compounded over time are what makes the difference between success and failure. Brandon and David talk about the same principles regularly on the podcast...whether real estate investing or getting in shape, one big push every 6 months isn’t going to do it. Consistent effort over time is what does
This book is absolutely MIND-BLOWING! It's not directly related to real estate, but this book can seriously change your ENTIRE mindset and how you look at and view the world and how things around you came about. This book is phenomenal I've read it twice now! (Hahaha)
