I’m interested in flipping single family homes that will need extensive remodeling and may have been gutted. Please share any recommendations for remodeling/rehab professionals in Chicago and the Chicagoland area.

    What is your level of experience?  I assume none, but you want to do FULL renovations. Do you know what the costs should be? Do a few small ones then go bigger

    Look for contractors on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram in your area.  This way you can see their work and most will have customer reviews on there as well especially if they have a Facebook page.  Also look on the local MeetUp sites for investment groups that meet their locally.  They can be a good source for vetted contractors.     Hey There @Cee Wright!  Now is a great time to be flipping here in Chicago and the suburbs.  I've found that targeting single family cosmetic renovations (anything in front of walls) makes things as simple and smooth as possible.  Cosmetic renovations are easier to estimate rehab cost and are still considered "turn-key" to sellers.
