Is there anyone with information on container homes being built in Texas or Kansas? It seems like a good alternative to regular homes especially with the shortage and the fact that these are finished in less time.

A local wanna-be in my area called me. He didn't have any cash but wanted to "partner". He was trying to build a container home in the area. It seems to have been a fiasco.

My Aviation partner started and is running a container home building company.. they cost more to build correctly than stick built unless you want to just live in a can.. 

Not easy to get financing probably.  Not easy to get city permitting in most places.

So plenty of challenges, but they have been done.

@Eric James Hi Eric! Thx for your response. I have learned that it takes experienced professionals in that kind of construction to do the job. I've seen several container homes construction jobs and the challenges. It's an alternative to consider IF you do your homework.

Ya Carls Models are right there on the Willamette River as you can see in the pictures..  And my latest housing subdivision that I am building is about 2.5 air miles due south southwest town of Canby Oregon..  Carl is a visionary and a highly GREEN guy  .. Back ground is underground construction..  Super smart he gets an idea and runs with it.. plus has the capital to execute.
