Do experienced flippers cool it on acquiring and rehabbing houses-heading into the winter months? I live in Pittsburgh and the best time to sell is Spring/Summer...so I'm told by agents.
What do the experienced rehabbers do?
I'm about to start on my second rehab and I wonder about the effects of completing a project in the late fall/winter.

Hi Dan. I'm new to BP but from the pgh area. I find in my flip business if you have the means to hold properties that you can rehab in the fall/winter it really helps in the spring because you have inventory to sell. Just an idea. Good luck.

Bryan L. is probably right. Best not to pay attention to the calendar. If indeed its too cold for contractors to work on the home, it will get pushed out a few weeks till the weather warms up. The weather is unpredictable. There are some winters that are so warm that work never stops.
At the very least you will have an edge and have ready inventory to sell in spring.
