Ask me anything - note investing

i have been very fortunate during my career to have been able to acquire and dispose of what i would consider a decent amount of mortgage notes. many of those that we invested in were non-performing loans and while i like to say we believe we have pretty much seen everything, we know that is not the case.

i do know that there are a lot of people who look to get into this space because some of the gurus make it sound like it's very simple and mailbox money, which is the furthest from the truth.

for those who are considering or have recently just gotten into the space, if you have questions about mortgage note investing, feel free to post a question below. happy to share my two cents along with many others who also have a significant number of years of experience and can also add to those comments. please note there is also no such thing as a dumb question.
