You're not giving us enough info to help here.

What did you pay for the home? How much are you putting into the interior? What is the ARV? What do comparable houses look like?

You may not need to bother as long as it's still doing its job. 

It's really going to depend on the area and expected ARV.

    Picture is too low resolution to tell what's going on. Other items: remove pine tree. Improve fence. Add landscaping. Improve/replace front steps.

    IMO, it's just ugly. Some nice Hardi-plank siding would give it a nice Craftsman look. Of course, if it's not in the budget, then don't, but that is not only ugly but looks dated as @Pat Mulligan said....

    It will sell, but it's very unpopular in the eyes of a buyer.  Personally, I make my upgrades with resale in mind, even on a BRRR. You don't know if you have to sell it sooner than later.

    It appears to be some kind of faux brick panels, but not sure. I would remove  and Hardiplank it. A few days work, low cost, and it will look sharp. Straighten any sags or anything that's crooked first.

    If this were mine I would install the porch screens on the porch, if they are there.

    If they are not there, I would have them made by someone who knows how to do it and put some some screens up in front of the windows. 

    It might change the look of the house a lot and maybe make that front porch into a real pleasant area to spend time on, either on a glider or rocking chair or something like that.

    As to the siding, if it is brick you see that same brick all over Detroit. It was popular before the riots hit but now it's just kind of old fashioned looking but fits in in the neighborhoods because so many other places have it.

    If you are looking for a more modern look, (as others have said) Hardy board is always nice.

    And regarding the screens if you look above the window openings on the outside you may find either hooks or something that will accept a hook for the screen as to hang onto.

    They fit into the openings and are typically secured at the bottom with a hook and eye on the inside window sill.

    If the house has not been Looted or had the inside destroyed you may find the screens in the basement or the garage or the attic.

    It seems to me that screens will give it more of a gray appearance against the white, perhaps making it look more modern.

    If you are interested in screening the porch, you can get aluminum screening which is more resistant to box cutters and switch blades then the standard fiberglass cheapy screens if you want.

    Then you can sit out there in the summer with some Lemonade listing to a Tigers game without worrying about the mosquitoes.

    This really depends. Its detroit so don't overspend, it gets really easy. Have you done the COC yet? If so and its lead paint they will ask you to remediate. If that's the case to might make more to replace then remediate.

    @Juan Ayala can't tell you anything from just a pic of your house!

    An investor should always, "maintain to the neighborhood"!
    - Do too little and you're a slumlord
    --Do too much and you won't get a return on your investment.

    So, would need pics of other houses in the neighborhood.
