Starting a Property Management company, any suggestions on marketing?

Hey everyone!

My partners and I have been managing our rentals for years very successfully, I am looking to start a PM company in Florida.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on ways to successfully gain properties to manage.

We utilize a site called AllPropertyManagement.com to help pay for leads and focus heavily on optimizing your website to ensure it ranks high in your local area for organic searches. This is crucial for building a strong online presence and attracting property owners naturally. In the meantime, using AdWords is an excellent way to gain immediate exposure while you build your organic traffic.

Thanks David! With the paid leads you receive, is it a cold outreach? Like, are you giving them a call/ letter/ email, etc out of the blue?

For both the client has reached out with interest = so not really a cold lead.  We typically will call and then follow up with emails if necessary

There are several marketing companies that work with PMCs to solicit leads for them.

Google this, "property management owner leads"

You can also attend RE investor physical & virtual meetings, as well as agent events & meetings - network!

    Hi Ryan,

I do business development for a property management company in Milwuakee. The way we gain doors is mainly through word of mouth, but we have inbound and outbound leads. Our inbound leads come from several sources, including All Property Management, Geek Leads, and our website. Outbound leads come from networking events and calling For Rent by Owners. One of our biggest referral sources is realtors, especially ones that work with investors, so I encourage you to start a realtor referral program that incentivizes realtors to bring business your way.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions!

We are looking to expand and potentially partner. We are located in Cape Coral, Fl and are looking to expand into other FL markets. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in discussing the opportunity.

The best method is to network with real estate agents/brokers. Most agents won't touch property management with a 39-and-a-half-foot pole. Let them know about your services, why you are better than the competition, offer a referral fee, and the will send clients your way.

Local realtors are our biggest referral source. Would highly recommend attending local realtor meetings/events and building a referral program.
