Looking for some advice….We have one unit with no pets but the second unit we are testing the waters and allowing one small dog. Anyone have experience with pets in their rentals? Is it a bad idea?

Majority of tenants have pets these days, so you may be significantly shrinking your tenant pool.

Also, you may be setting yourself up to have tenants sneak pets in.
