Hey all!
I'm Alex, Director of Events at BP. I get tons of emails and DMs asking me about BPCON every week, so I've started a forum post here so it's easier than ever to ask me anything!
Want to know who comes to BPCON? Wondering if BPCON is right for you in your investing journey? Maybe you want to know about writing off your BPCON experience? I'm here to help!
Ask me anything, and I'll respond here!
The basics:
- BPCON website + info
- Location: Orlando, FL (Yes, we have a discounted room block!)
- When: October 2-4 (The first time it's over a weekend, which is by popular demand!)

OP. We went to the New Orleans convention. Enjoyed it.
Will make the following suggestions again.
1. At the luncheons or happy hour areas and others. Please put up tall stand signs with different topics. MFH, BRRR, finance, insurance, commercial, BP Forum, Mobile Homes, etc etc. This will make it easier for like minded people to join and find conversations. I enjoyed meeting all of the people, but. At lunch as an example sat with a table of all new investors. But I didn't get much from it. Mainly talked about our business.
2. Do the same sign thing above. Have a break out session where investors do round table discussions on topic areas. Then switch to other tables and topics. Let them lead the discussion.
3. Your losing the BP forum. My opinion. Have a BP posters break out session. How to reduce AI participation. Introduce Mr Ale and have him describe the vision of BP and the forum posts. General lack of deals. More of a housing investment thing. Our REI there are tons of deals to do. Develop more interaction products within the forum posts. Examples: Deal of the month. Monday marketplace update. Finance Friday. Scaling Saturday. New investor ???. Military Monday. Financial freedom Wednesday. Develop add contacts for those post sessions. Bring a bunch of yellow sticky's. Through the ideas up on the wall. Walk away and develop more Forum Post interactions.
4. I like NASTY properties and situations. Have a NASTY forum. Not necessarily dirty. If I could travel all over the U.S. I would do Squatter investments in NYC and San Francisco. Would look on Loopnet, Crexi, MLS for the oldest listings. Etc etc. Make your deal. Don't bid against 20 other people.
5. Canada day- invest in Canada Also Canadians investing in the U.S.
