I am looking to connect with some local Wholesalers, General Contractors and Flippers in the El Paso, TX area. I have several questions as to particulars but the biggest one is how do i get in contact with these people? I am looking to try and test out my first flip sometime this first Quarter and i am looking for any help and connections that i can make. All suggestions are welcome.
No problem Jacob Firnekas. I've heard several people lament about not having a meeting on the east side. Maybe it's time to start one. There are plenty of RE agencies on that side of town that I bet would be thrilled to sponsor investor meetings. I can't stress enough how much of an impact meetings have on networking and deal making. I found my last deal at epic and hard money at REIA.

Have you checked out El Paso Investors Club (EPIC) or the El Paso Real Estate Investors Association? EPIC meets at the Hilton near UTEP and REIA meets at V Realty on the west side. Both have been great places to network. EPIC also has a monthly deal night. They are both definitely worth checking out.
I agree with @Jason Chambers both local REIC's are a great place to network. I wish there was one that meets on the east side. Let me know if either of you know of one. One of the ways I find wholesalers in El Paso is to drive around some of the major intersections near local hotspots like 79938. Take a picture for each of the "we buy houses" signs. Lately I've seen sets of red, green, and yellow. Call those numbers and you will typically be talking with a wholesaler. Also, a few months back I had my VA round up a list of local contractors, both commercial and residential, to interview them. Many were hard to get a hold of since the actual contractor was on the job site and their secretaries answered. I cant vouch if they are any good or not, since we were filtering them for when we do need to call. At least have a refined list rather than calling number by number out of the phone book... Thank you Jason. I have been to EPIC deal night but i have yet to attend a normal meeting, and i still need to take a look at El Paso Real Estate Investors Association.
I definitely wish the had a closer REIC to east side as well. I will take your advice and try contacting some of these people who are placing signs.

We’ve worked with Sabin Marquez at Marquis Lending (915)920-7223 and also George Van at VRealty (915)496-7661. We have a closer relationship with George but both have been great.

Hello guys, I am starting to work with a couple of investors and wanted to ask if you had any wholesalers that you could recommend ? I would be picking up 1-2 deals every 6-9 months to start. Single Family, Duplexes - 4-plexes - as well as anything commercial 5 units up to about -16 units.
Starting out in the EP area as well. Long drive to the EPIC meeting on the west side but it was worth it! Still wish they had one on the east side. Keeping an eye out for Multifamily properties. Will appreciate any leads. Thank you!
