An Apartment Unit Rumored To Be Haunted? Real or Fake?

If this is probably off topic, but has anyone bought or lived in a haunted house or apartment. My buddy and I were talking about real estate, and he mentioned that he almost lived in a apartment that was supposedly haunted. Some of y'all may not believe in ghost/or hauntings but thats okay. For those of you who do, feel free to share your experience. I'm just telling you what my buddy told me.

He said, when he saw how much the rent was (400-350$ I don't remember), he said it was too good to be true. So he went to go look at it, and as soon as he stepped inside of the unit he noticed how cold it was. Colder than usual. Keep in mind, it was summer and live in South Texas. In the summer, it can get really hot. Mix that with high humidity (on some days), it feels like 115-120F degrees. Although I think over I'm over exaggerating but I digress. He looked at the thermostat and it was set at 72F but it felt like 30F  which seemed odd. He kept getting this bad feeling and felt like he was being watched. He was only one inside the unit. He said the landlord was outside the whole time. But he brushed it off and kept looking. He went into a room to look and thought he saw a shadow figure in the corner of his eye and again he got a bad feeling and felt like he was being watched. When he left the room he closed the door, and before he left the unit he turned around and saw that it was open. He swears that he closed the door.

Before he left apartment, one of the tenants asked him if he was gonna live there. He said no and explained that he was getting a bad feeling and felt like he was being watched. The tenant told him that the unit was rumored to be haunted and explained that at least 5 people lived in there and quicky moved out. The tenant mentioned that the pervious tenant only lived there for 3 months. What made the tenant move out so quickly was one night when the tenant was sleeping, the tentant kept on hearing nosies. Like someone knocking inside the unit. When the tenant woke up, the tenant saw 3 shadow figures. The tenant lived alone. The next day, the tenant packed up everything and left. He asked if the teant has experienced anything like that in their unit. The tentant said no, it was just that one unit.

For those of you who watch the show A Haunting or other ghost shows, probably think that he just making it up and used one episodes from A Hauting. I will let y'all decide if it is real or BS. I've heard a couple stories from people about haunted houses but not an apartment unit. He could be telling the truth or the landlord was messing around.  What do y'all think?
