Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone had used Bridge Capital Thrift & Loan from Memphis, TN or had sold a property to someone using a credit line from them? They don't have any reviews on Google or Facebook and I just wanted to verify they are a legitimate outfit. Here's the website: https://bridgememphis.com/. Thanks!

@Andrew Syrios,

They are a quality company.  However, in what capacity are you asking?  I wasn't aware they were originating anything recently.

I just funded two deals in KC that paid off bridge. so not sure if that means they are exiting KC

    Check with a local title company about them.

    Hey, @Andrew Syrios. It's been way too long.

    That's odd that Bridge Capital doesn't have reviews since they've been around for a long time in Memphis.  My guess is 15+ years.  They are legit outfit.

    I'm happy to introduce you to Scott, Greg, or Chris on their team if you want me to.  I've known all of them for years.

      Just got a preapproval letter from them and hadn't heard of them. It would be for a fairly large transaction so I just wanted to make sure they were legit which it certainly would seem they are.

      We've originated a lot of business with them since 2010.  I can assure you with 100% certainty that if they give you a pre-approval letter, they will perform, provided no other issues pop up.

    Thin Google reviews dont automatically mean a Memphis private lender is fake — a lot of older local shops never built a review page — but you still verify before you count on their money. Ask a couple Memphis title companies whether they’ve closed with that desk recently, get a written term sheet (rate, points, recourse, advance rate), and confirm they’re actually originating right now vs only collecting payoffs. If you’re the seller, make the buyer’s financing contingency name the lender and proof of funds/credit line so you’re not guessing.
