Hi BiggerPockets Community!

I wanted to introduce myself to the network. I am a dedicated property manager with over 8 years of hands-on experience maximizing ROI for landlords across the North, South, East, and West sides of Chicago.

Having personally managed an extensive portfolio of doors—spanning both multi-unit buildings and single-family homes—I provide local property owners with a highly responsive, attentive alternative to rigid, slow-moving corporate firms. I work closely with landlords to deliver fast communication, transparent feedback, and direct oversight on every single property. My comprehensive background is built to protect your investment, maximize cash flow, and minimize vacancies through specialized local expertise.

Whether you are looking for advice on the Chicago rental market, dealing with neighborhood-specific regulations, or looking to optimize your portfolio's cash flow, questions are always welcome! Drop a comment below or send me a message—I am happy to connect and help out where I can.

Welcome! Property management is super important and especially in places that are more tenant friendly, it's even more crucial.

would love to see you out at some local Chicago meetups.

id also recommend listening to the straight up Chicago investor podcast too. Perhaps you could be a guest on there one day too!

Hi There @Katarzyna Ziarek - Welcome to the Chicago BP community! Looks like you have covered all areas of Chicago on the property management side!

Are you an active investor or solely in management? Which management company do you work for?

Any big goals or ambitions to get done before the end of the year?

Welcome to BiggerPockets, Katarzyna, and good to see another property manager active in the Chicago market. I am Mike Fisher; I have been investing in Chicago real estate for 35 years and run MF CashFlow (M Property Group LLC) out of the south and southwest suburbs. The forums here are one of the best places to trade notes on our market: Cook County eviction timelines, the RLTO, Section 8, and all the little things that make managing in Chicagoland its own animal. Happy to be a resource anytime, and I look forward to seeing your posts. Feel free to connect.

Welcome, @Katarzyna Ziarek. Eight years of managing properties across Chicago gives you a perspective that I’m sure a lot of landlords here will appreciate. Your point about being responsive and giving owners direct feedback especially stood out to me because that becomes incredibly important when something goes wrong at a property.

I’m a real estate attorney and investor in Maryland, and I work with landlords regularly. I’ve seen how much easier it is to address a tenant or property issue when the property manager has kept good records, documented what happened, and communicated clearly with the owner along the way. A strong property manager can make a real difference long before an issue ever reaches an attorney.

It sounds like you’ve built a lot of hands on experience, @Katarzyna Ziarek. Property management and landlord tenant law cross paths often in my work, so I always enjoy connecting with experienced PMs and hearing what they’re seeing on their side. Happy to stay connected.
