Once you get things rolling, it will get easier but the off season will be spent fixing the boats, the cabins, docks (they take a pounding depending on the lake), buying new linens...the list is almost endless.I have talked with a few owners of various mom/pop resorts and they have all told me the same thing, it is a labor of love and being independent.

was my rampup slower than some guys who just pound the phones 4 hours a day and rip through off market stuff at $170K average price point and do 20 of em a month with virtual assistance overseas, probably....but if I would have tried that way, to your point, I don't think I would stick wtih it enough to see the success.wanted to touch on your other point about "struggle doesn't automatically make you better" is a big mindset barrier I am currently working to get over in my own work.

That being said, I usually try to aim for animals under 20 to 30 pounds because having two large German Shepherd's in a 1 to 2 bedroom apartment - It's just not a good idea.
