The biggest advice that I would share is to attack each new thing from a position of strength.

After many many years reading BP posts, I can tell from an OP initial post if they’re going to be hostile, unreceptive, unappreciative, paranoid, attacking, degrading, and disrespectful to anyone “criticizing” or disagreeing or providing an opinion they don’t like.  

Personal attacks on responding posters;; name calling; bullying; and self righteous indignation are his stock in trade.
