Many buyers can’t visualize the potential for an open space and a vacant house can seem cold/not homey.

I also do my agent's visual inspection at the same time so that I can provide them with detailed notes about what I see regarding the condition of the property.

That being said, securing the permitting may require that you open up walls and flooring to provide visual access to structural elements, electrical wiring, and plumbing components that were included within the addition.
