Over the last year I have spent many hours on the phone with them and provided proof of payment with requests to audit and correct records to all three companies (originator, temp servicer, final servicer)  but to no effect.I think it is time to find some legal help.

I've heard that one way to generate leads is to view tax records for properties to see if someone might be behind or delinquent.

Most county records aren't public.

I don't believe landlords should have recording devices on property.

On the last 2 applicants, I noticed there was no criminal background check, only a search for "Filtered National Civil Court Records Search." 

I know how to pull county tax records and look at the mill rate, but I what I don't know is what the county will appraise a home at.

Assuming that is a strategy you want to pursue, Would it be possible to record a note on your free and clear property for 100% of the market value that has another entity you control as the owner of the note?
