Has anyone invested with Home Team Vacation Rentals in the past? I had a intro call with them on Friday and their business model sounds amazing, but maybe too amazing.  Looking to get insight.

I don't think you're ready for this investment on many levels including the age of the building, hoping rents will increase and rates won't 'move' on you (they will; reality sucks), the lack of trusted and knowledgeable advisors...please discontinue using any online portal - aka 'real estate porn.' 

For all of you who watch 'real estate porn' (aka HGTV), it isn't reality. 

He was even convicted on 34 felonies related to falsifying business records in order to cover up hush money payments to a porn star he was allegedly having an affair with while his wife was pregnant.
