There are probably two publications that command respect above all others, and those are the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. One of my goals for BiggerPockets has always been to get mentions in both.

Well, we're halfway there!

Today, BiggerPockets was mentioned as one of the go-to resources for landlords by the New York Times in the article Resources for Accidental Landlords!

This is a great honor for me, and I'm glad that the big boys are beginning to recognize what a fantastic resource this has become.

Please do check out the article, and be sure to thank the author, Jennifer Schultz, for letting everyone know about BP, in the comments of the piece itself.

Christmas came a day early to BiggerPockets . . .

Congrats! That's quite an honor.

I know I'd be lost without this great resource!

I can see the future now! BiggerPockets is going to have a bigger audience and BiggerPockets with the donations from all those that you have helped Josh. It may be time to look into the possible need for more moderators in 2010 as you grow into a bigger forum than just the few (albiet great) moderators you have now can handle.

Prepare for growing pains greater than the previous few years.

See guys? The site is now attracting beautiful ladies who are investors. Now don't you really want to become top donors and help increase the number of gorgeous lady investors that frequent here?

Somehow I missed this this thread until now. Oh wait, it was the Holidays, no wonder!

BP Nation represented in the NY Times is not just an honor, but shows how far we ALL have come together! BP is certainly the place to be if you are or want to be a RE investor!

Tim - since you are on the bandwagon for donations, I just happened to make one earlier today. I mean another one. Coincidence I suppose, but you are so right, donations go directly to improving this site and the more improvements we get, the more it benefits us.

I wanted to make another before the year end and will comitt to additional donations next year. We all need tax write-offs, right! :)

    Congrats Josh and BP Nation!!!!!
    Sky is the limit.
