New to the BP community (Buffalo NY)

Hello BP community, I am a new member to the BP community looking foward to using this awesome resource! I am currently working as an engineer in the Niagara Falls area and new to real estate Investing. My ultimate goal would be to transition full-time into the real estate investing world in the next 5 years. I would love to start doing so through my hometown buffalo markets. Looking to meet with like minded individuals. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Welcome to the forum @Steven McDermott. I am also an aspiring real estate investor in Buffalo. Like other people have said: learn, listen, and take action (Episode 276 of the BP podcast is a great one about taking action).     @Steven McDermott - I'd jump into any local meet ups as soon as possible.  Often you can find like minded investors to team up with.  Otherwise books, podcasts and videos are inexpensive and often free, take advantage of that.

     Hey Steve check out the local meetup, meets once a month and you can usually find it on the search page, Raylan Willis is usually the host if that helps you find it in the search, lots of good people at that one and I always learn good info there. Best of luck on your path
