Are you looking for one in NYC? Jamie Arnold of Great Lakes Capital has meetups in a few different cities in NY, but I don't think NYC. He's based out of Syracuse, but might do a virtual one as well. Either way, he might be a good person to network with.
There are some really active meetup groups in the LA area - they are all virtual and the individuals on the meetups invest in properties all over the country (TX, FL, GA, CA, etc.)

I am Yosef from Queens, NY and I am investing in out of state multifamily. I and my partner Nico from Long Island run a virtual meetup. It started as virtual because it was born during Pandemic shutdown but we are planning to go live sometime next year.
Since it’s virtual some people from out of state also attends. Mostly we invite a guest from multifamily field and mix it up with little bit of networking. Usually about 20-40 people attend depending on topics. There is also one in Westchester that’s run by my friend in White plain. I and a couple of local people are thinking about having an in person meetup sometime next year! Very excited! Good to see many like minded investors here! 💪
I second @Yosef Lee. He has had a great line up of speakers who are battle-hardened veterans in the multifamily space. His meetups attract a lot of quality individuals and provide a great networking opportunity. Additionally, Yosef is a great guy - humble and genuine, will help you in any way he can...
