@Charles Carroll while I’m still trying to determine the specific market to invest in, I’m looking to invest in a market that is in either Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York that is 2-3 hours driving distance from Suffolk County. As I get a few rentals under my belt I’d like to further explore long distance real estate investing in markets in the south
I invest in Buffalo but live on Long Island. If you do anything virtual would love to join. When I’m in town in the future I’d be in touch to see if I can catch a meet up.

I just posted a zoom meet up for Albany area investors (Troy, Schenectady and surrounding areas-- this is for you, too!).
I love the in-person meet ups, but given the current covid numbers this felt like a safer bet for a post-holiday gathering. I'm not a huge fan of virtual gatherings, in general, but I've really enjoyed the handful of zoom meet ups we have done. The group largely consists of MF investors, but we also have some commercial folks and rehabbers in the group.
