Chatrooms for Real estate investors

Hello BP members,

Does anyone know of any chatrooms for real estate investors?
Is there a chatroom that hosts discussions with a good number of people on a regular basis??

I checked out weekendmillionaire dot com as someone suggested but they only hold their chats once a month. Any other recommendations? -Brandon

It would probably help to have a link to the chatroom in a prominent place in the navigation. Maybe better than list status for each user, you could simply show how many people are currently in the chatroom. I might also suggest that you use a chat application based on IRC. For those of us who are chat junkies, IRC is a nice option. I'd be willing to assist in a chatroom upgrade project if you like.

    If you're paying attention: I too like this idea. I think it is something that could be placed directly beneath the "awards" area. The site already has the ability to list all users that are online, so this could hook in with that capability.

    Of course, nothing is perfect - including this idea. There are users out there (me being among them) who do not shut down the browser and do power down computer; they would seem to always be online as long as the site is up and running, and the network stays in connected state between user and BP.

    I know that software exists to not only see if you are online but active as well. Just because your browser is open obviously doesn't mean you are there. If there is no activity for a few minutes, it could say that you are away or offline or something.

    I am a 50+ new comer to the world of real estate and am looking for someone who can advise or guide me to person(s) who could mentor me.  I am interested in the following:

    1. Learning about real estate investing

    2. Becoming a property locator

    3. Learning to flip houses

    Any information or help is appreciated.  Thank you

    Link seems to be dead.  For those that are still interested in realtime discussion, there is an open IRC channel for real estate investing on Snoonet.org called ##realestateinvesting.   

    For those that have never used IRC before or do not have an IRC client, you can find a good comparison matrix of available clients here or use a web client like KiwiIRC to connect (ex: https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/#irc://irc.snoonet.org/##realestateinvesting).  It will ask you for a nickname before you connect (tip: try to choose a unique name otherwise the system may auto-change it for you if it's currently being used).

     Bp did have a chat feature but they scraped it. It was slightly flawed maybe as the whole site was live chat enabled with live members vs just having a simple live chat room link. Maybe they will try again someday.

    I apologize  if I'm not posting in the correct spot, but Agents Playroom is a live chat room for the real estate agents and I got my first listing from it. If anyone is interested www.agentsplayroom.com
