Who do you recommend for Property Management Systems (PMS)

Question

I have couple of short-term rentals. I need to get them on many short-term rental websites (i.e. airbnb, vebo, booking.com...etc.) for most exposer to my properties. Who do you recommend (i.e. hostaway, guesty, hospitable...etc.) and why?

Self manage! Cut out the middle man and save yourself some money. Self management can be done remotely. I manage 4 STR units over 14 hours away. There is a book called Short Term Rental, Long Term Wealth by Avery Carl. Quick read and power packed with all the things STR.

Use a PMS: property management software.

It will link together your Airbnb, VRBO, direct booking, etc calendars so you manage them all from 1 place.

My property manager has software that looks at other vacation rentals, hotels, and motels in the area. Basically, the software watches the market for us and increases/decreases pricing based on occupancy rates, prices of others, day of the week, and other data. It works well. Bookings for 2022 were slightly down but income was up.

@I Sami Siddiqui it depends on your goals. If you’re just looking to get your property on all the major OTA’s you can get something as simple as Guesty For Hosts. If you’re looking to get your property out there on all major sites, google Vacation rentals, lock integrations, and the full package then I would suggest something like Hostfully.

I also use OwnerRez. I also got a private domain for the website (very inexpensive). You get a hosted website as with OwnerRez. I use Stripe for the credit card processing. I know there are cheaper options but I like that Stripe is bigger and well knows and I like the dashboard. Also, different properties can be tied to different accounts. OwnerRez works great with Stripe. I don't have the QuickBooks interface enabled even though I do use QB for my accounting, but you can add that feature to OwnerRez as well.

I use Lodgify right now, I'm not blown away by them but it works fine. I'm sure there are better ones out there but I honestly can't stomach the idea of how much work it would be to switch over to another PMS.

Ownerrez is who I use, there is a learning curve but it's affordable and scalable.

Thank you @Myka Artis for your suggestion. It appears that everyone ha their go to website, no two people has suggested same company. I have been looking into hospitable and homeaway but after a while they all sound the same. I know I need to pick one and try it out. Yes, I do want my property on all the major OTA's. Thx
