Aloha,

You might check your region to see if there are any "Hotel Liquidator" type of second hand shops. A lot of used hotel furniture is better looking and better built than most new, reasonably priced, household furnishings. Especially chairs, tables, chests, and bedframes.

    I would recommend interviewing local interior designers as they will likely have the best input and skills to do so. Good luck!

    Hey @Bertha Spezzia. There are a lot of ways to go with this. If you have a big budget then a local interior designer can do it all for you, but it won't be cheap.

    How far are you away from your new place? You can take a look at all the other successful rentals in the area and copy a lot of their design queue and add your own.

    @Bertha Spezzia I highly recommend @Toni Escuder from Guested! They specialize in furnishing short term rentals. I’ve used Guested to design and furnish 3 client properties and from start to finish, amazing work!

    We always use local designers and at most we pay about $20 per foot all in (furnishings, TV's, paintings, linen, all the way to flatware).  There should be some full service designers in the area offering that service.  We are in FL so price could vary but I would use that as a reference point when interviewing.  I hope that helps!

    Somerled Design ( www.somerleddesigns.com ) does beautiful work and they make sure your property stands out and gets those bookings! They travel all over the country and depending on your budget they could either give you a design board and then you could hire a local person to set the property up, or they can come and do the entire set up for you.

    I would recommend reaching out to an interior decorator in your area. I'm also an interior decorator as well with 5 properties currently under contract.

    I've heard of a local agent in the area who has an airbnb furnishing /management company. His name is Blaine Kosek I'd google him and reach out!
