Does anyone have experience with Chi Ta of BnB University Airbnb arbitrage course? It is a corporate housing arbitrage mentoring program. I have 2 SFH, both purchased using house hacking. Feels to scale up I would need cashflow in next one.
Chi Ta program offer 12-month membership for $10k with financing and help in getting first arbitrage from landlord.
I'm about to sign up but wanted to do my due diligence I want to check with people here if this is legit and if the program is worth the money they as asking for. There are a lot of influencers, courses, and coaches out there who only want to make money by selling subpar information that doesn't help people.

Please let me know if you have any experience or information on this particular program or a better program or coach.

I think most people here will caution you on these courses.  Everyone on here has a lot of FREE knowledge and experience you can take advantage of.

My knowledge is free, but I am most happy to charge for it, if someone is willing to pay!

I would be very careful with a lot of course or guru in general right especially a price tag like that what I would always recommend reading the contract and see who is the person more in favor and if its not you then dont sign up very rare to see someone actually benefit from a course.

Andrew i see here people say to gather free knowledge. I did that, but its always better to have someone guide you to start something. I know i can start my own but would take a lot of time and huddles since doing it alone. Ofcourse my mistakes would cost me if done all my self as well.

So i am thinking that by going through paid consulting, it saves me from mistakes and time. Unless it turns out to be scam or fraudulent

Hey Pooja. I hope that you have not gone ahead with Chi's offering. 🤷‍♂️

I am new, hence no profile pic and no other stats, but I joined purely to find out if anyone else has had issues with Chi Ta and the programs that he offers.

I signed up for his "done for you" AirBnB business model @ $30k program fee, plus all costs and whatnot on me. His end was to find and furnish the apartments and then supply his management team for the ongoing day to day. I was supposed to be relatively hands off.

The arrangement was okay for the first six or so months (I paid all the operational costs/bills) and it was pretty much break even (low season and all that).

We had a contract for services, with a contractually guaranteed monthly income, and I shaped it more as we went along to be more balanced, risk wise (shifting to where he held some operational debt).

His response? He pulled all support and left me hanging.

The funny thing? His withdraw of support was right when high season was due to kick in and when the profits were to be made for the entire year (which is the case for most Airbnbs).

So, there is much more detail to it, but I would strongly caution anyone getting involved with Chi. If he doesn't like something, or it's not going his way, then he simply withdraws from it.

I have been in the STR/MTR game for eight years and have been podcasting on this topic for the past eight years, during which I have interviewed the majority of the influencers. I will just give you a list of the influencers that are legit and what you need to reach out to them for. I'm not knocking the Chi Ta guy, but I have seen his advertisements online, and $ 10,000 for one, yes, from a landlord seems absurd. You can do it on your own by listening to Sean's YouTube channel. I'm not referring to Chi directly, but I have heard of it too many times, where people are getting ripped off on courses from individuals who offer the bare minimum for a considerable investment. There is also free stuff on these forums.

    Airbnb Arbitrage - Sean Rakidzich
Vacation Rentals - Luke and Avery Carl
    Boutique Hotels - Mike Sjogren
Direct Bookings and building your platform - Mark Simpson with Boostly
