Looking for experiences with a Tax Planning/Strategy CPA

I’m looking for a CPA who specializes in short-term rental real estate, tax planning and tax strategy.

I’m currently considering the following companies and would love to hear about your experiences with:

   Hall CPA

   Keystone CPA

   Ryan Bakke / Tax Strategy 365

   WCG CPAs & Advisors

   ProVision

   Madsen & Company

   Taxstra

If you’ve worked with any of these firms, would you recommend them? How was their communication, tax planning, responsiveness, and overall experience?

Also, are there any other STR-focused CPA firms you’d recommend that I should consider?

I have not worked with any of these but I will say I recently switched to and could not be happier with @Christopher Tile with Aiola CPA.

    I have not worked with any of these but I will say I recently switched to and could not be happier with @Christopher Tile with Aiola CPA.

    @Ross Derouen Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I can't self-promote on this forum, however, can state that Aiola CPA is a full-service real estate tax firm. We offer advisory, tax prep, and accounting. 

    The firms you've listed are big players too. We are friendly with most on your list and they all provide great services. As for advisory, make sure the firm you work with offers continuous support and quick response times. That's the biggest pain point we hear from clients switching to our service.

    There are other tax planning firms on BP that you may want to consider. 

    I recommend looking for a firm who will work with you throughout the year. You want an accountant who can help you strategize and who is responsive when you want to know the consequences of the financial decisions you are making throughout the year.
