Financing short term rental furnishings

I have several nice single-family houses that would make a good short term rental. I really do not want to spend  my working capital furnishing these properties. Is it common for people to find private lenders that will put a second against the property?

IMO It's worth spending the extra money to furnish it to make it unique... Nearly all the properties in any particular market look two in the same when you are a consumer scrolling through Airbnb... Not saying buy designer furniture, etc. but spend the extra dollars on the key areas that will make your place stand out on the first 1-5 photos online. The more clicks you get, the more bookings, higher occupancy, more reviews, and eventually higher nightly rate. It will pay off quicker than you think!
