I’m new here and really excited to dive into the world of real estate investing! I’m a total rookie, but I’m eager to learn how to create passive income and make smart investments.

I’d love to connect with experienced investors and maybe even find a mentor who can help guide me along the way. I’m ready to absorb as much knowledge as I can and am open to any advice or resources you all might have.

Welcome! I know what it's like to be a newbie in real estate investing. It can feel overwhelming, and you might not know where to start just yet. I would recommend finding a market you're interested in and definitely finding a mentor—someone you can call on and talk to when you have questions.

Along with doing those things, try to absorb as much information from the BiggerPockets podcast. They also have literature and tons of free information online that you can learn from without spending a dollar. Once you start figuring out how to navigate the world of real estate investing a little better, try to narrow down on what kind of investment strategy you want to execute.

Hi Terrance, welcome to the BiggerPockets community! You've come to the right place to learn and network. I remember being new here and moving from Portland OR to Columbus OH to start my real estate investing career. My advice is to look for and explore markets with great macroeconomics - just like here in Columbus. There are a lot of companies building here (Intel, FB, Amazon, etc. ), lots of job growth, and population growth. Happy to connect and answer any questions you have.
