Hey everyone! Excited to officially join the BiggerPockets community.
I'm a mortgage lender and spent a lot of my career focused on conventional financing, but over the last few years I've really dug into the investor side of lending, especially DSCR loans and other investor-focused products. I also work quite a bit with FHA, VA, and USDA financing.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here, talking real estate, and hopefully being a helpful resource when financing questions come up. Excited to be part of the community!
@Austin Goetz Welcome to the community! With your experience in DSCR and investor-focused lending, you're definitely in the right place. I also help real estate investors with financing and would love to connect, share resources, and see how we can help each other grow!
Welcome to the community! It's awesome to have another lender here who bridges the gap between traditional agency loans and investor-focused products. The DSCR and non-QM space has grown tremendously, and having someone who understands both conventional guidelines and investor-driven debt is a massive asset to investors on BiggerPockets.
Looking forward to seeing you around the forums and bouncing ideas off each other!

Welcome, @Austin Goetz. I work with a lot of real estate investors, and I’ve learned how important it is for the financing side and the legal side of a deal to stay connected. A financing decision can sometimes affect how an investor approaches ownership, title, or the overall structure of a purchase, so having a lender who understands investors can be really helpful.
I’ve worked with clients where we were handling the contract, title, or ownership side while they were working through financing at the same time. The smoother deals are usually the ones where everyone understands what the investor is trying to accomplish and communicates early when something changes.
Glad to connect, @Austin Goetz. I’m a real estate attorney, broker, and investor in Maryland, so I’m often working on a different side of the same transactions you’re financing. Happy to stay connected and exchange perspectives.
