    Anthony - Chicago is a very big market and most investors I know specialize in an area of niche.  What specifically are you looking to do here?

    I wasn't trying to solicit deals, just saying if he wants to connect thats cool. Was also just being nice and having us offer advice depending on what he was looking to do in the Chicago market :)

    Welcome to BP! You can learn more about the Chicago market by looking at my weekly business update (I update BP Nation as to what goes on in my real estate business...since I invest in Chicago, you will know what areas sell and rent vs. what to avoid - because I once in a while buy houses in the wrong areas).     Welcome fellow Bigger Pockets member! This is a great forum and I am sure it will help you learn many facets of the real estate investment world. I purchased my first investment property over 40 years ago and only wish that I had a resource like BP community when I got started! So you are in a good company.

    Some say that your net-worth equals your network, and this is the place to make right connections. You should also find investors locally and network with them face-to-face. Find people close to you using MEET feature, also look for investor meetings on Meetup.
