Hi, I'm Gail and I'm introducing myself to the community. I found Bigger Pockets in my search for genuine education about investing in real estate that didn't come with a sales pitch. This is a pretty big career shift for me (I teach high school chemistry in New Haven now). I'm hoping to start wholesaling and rehabbing on the side anywhere along the Hartford-New Haven corridor, get some confidence, then take the plunge and quit my day job. I have the download from Bigger Pockets to look at and I've joined my local REIA. In the meanwhile, this seems like a wonderfully supportive community to begin to learn from.

@Account Closed Hi Gail, I don't know if you saw that there's a Hartford BP meet up next Wednesday, 1/14/15 at the Wood n Tap, 12 Town Line Road, Rocky Hill, CT That's really close to you. I too am going through a career change following the same path as you. I hope to see you there!
