Hey BP crowd! I'm brand spanking new to the world of real estate. So new, I'm just closing on my first home (to live in, not invest in). I found a couple podcasts by accident on the concept of flipping land. One of the podcasts was from BP and had Seth in it.
The idea of getting into REI without a huge bankroll seemed the best part of it. I have a background in sales and also have a pretty solid grasp on online marketing so I have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to reselling (hopefully)
But in the meantime I'm getting ready to learn by doing. If anyone else is out there in the land flipping market, any advice would be welcome!

Hi Scott. I got involved in land flipping a couple months ago. Since then I've acquired 3 properties, sold 2, and in the process of acquiring 4 more. I tripled my money on the first 2 sales.
I believe it is a great niche, but you need to follow a system. Get in touch with @JillDeWitt and @JackButala
Thanks Nathan G. , glad to hear you're doing well so far. I'm more of a do it my own way kind of guy. I've definitely seen the land academy system as well as Seth and Marks programs.
I'll be honest, I'm not a program guy. It's 2017 and everything's accessible on the internet if you look hard enough.
Besides, the best way to learn is to do and make mistakes.
Congrats on the great results! Jack & I just recorded a podcast with Richard in Florida and he has similar #s (300%). This is the kind of stuff that it's impossible for others to believe but it really happens. (Recorded today and will air in a few weeks.) What other business can do this?
Great advice about following a system; why waste 10 year catching up or trying to reinvent the wheel? (We sure wish we had "us" when we were starting out.)
Also important is getting your business into a system. You know that is key to be able to grow.
Welcome. I'm a US Navy Veteran. My dad was in the USAF, and retired to Tampa, FL, back in 1991. I lived my teenage years, and 20s there. I was stationed in Japan, just days before 9/11. Returned to Tampa, before going out to see the nation.
I still have some friends and family back there, so plan to return to the area in the (near) future.
