I just picked up my wifes new model y yesterday here in Vegas and they instruct you to use FSD on your first drive off the lot.

so you just put in destination ( home in my case which was about 30 miles) and press the icon on the Multi-function screen and the car just moves out of the parking stall through the parking lot onto the street and all the way home in rush hour traffic which included multiple lane changes and freeway merging etc. it knew to go through our back gate of our gated community and then drove right in front of our garage and stopped. Like many cars it does have a parking feature but I did not use that.

Never touched the wheel once also no nag light like my previous Teslas  this has come a LONG Way it was very cool Also there is 4 modes slow poke mode / chill mode    regular then sport we went in regular on city streets it went 5 miles over the posted ( which in vegas can be 20 miles an hour less than traffic) but when we got into traffic it just kept up with traffic.

For a Vegas car were you really never go out of the valley this is a very good choice NO gas no oil very sporty and the FSD is thing of the future.  Having owned many airplanes and as such used a few different auto pilots I have always been skeptical of technology.

So thats the report..  PS these are the price of any of the current 4 door sedans.  the Model Y i believe is one of the top 3 sellers in the country today at those price points.

Tesla so not work for everyone but if you dont drive more than 100 to 150 miles a day and can charge in your garage its the way to go in my mind for a everyday driver.

@Jay Hinrichs I did 14 hours straight picking my kids up from camp and back, only 6 minutes total time was me with hands on the wheel doing anything at all. Not that all conversations have to come back to real estate investing, but I've also had 3 renters this year alone ask that we install 240v outlets in garages for their teslas.
