Hello BP Members of Great Falls, Montana,

I love to network. I love to hear people's stories. But I don't like reaching out to profiles on BP that don't actively get used. I just wanted to see who in Great Falls, MT, uses BP regularly? I am the kind of guy that just likes to meet up and have a brew in person from time to time. I've been seeing people flirt with the words "BiggerPockets Meet-Up" and would love to see that happen if even on an unofficial capacity.

Hi Corey, I have lived in Great Falls for about 8 years. Just started my journey at the end of last year. I threw around the words “meet up” earlier this week and would love to see who in our community would like to get that going?

Nice to meet you! I have been in great falls for just over 16 years now and about twelve of those years I've been in something to do with real estate. I've been in property management, construction, handyman, flooring, commercial and residential roofing and in the last three years actively investing in Great Falls. You name it I've just about done it for a home to some capacity. I am looking to renew my independent contracting and property management licenses after I've completed my current BRRRR project. Hopefully more people spring up on this post and maybe we will throw together a soiree downtown. Again, nice to meet you!

I have been looking into investing in Great Falls for a little while now I would love to meet up for a beer and talk about investing. I have investments in kalispell now and my wife is a real estate agent.

That is awesome! Do you invest in Great Falls? I would love to set up a time where we could chat! I am new to investing and currently house hacking a home now and saving up for my next property. I do like Great Falls and it is a steady buy and hold market. I would love to hear more about your story! Plus I would like to meet more like minded people, so let’s get something going!:)

Hi @Preston Lamb, yes, I'm always down for some drinks and stories. I have a pretty good grasp on a lot of areas in Montana and the biggest on Great Falls. I just like meeting new folks and talking investing of several different kinds as I dabble in several different things.

@Alyssa McEwan, I do invest in Great Falls. I'm only on my fourth project in Great Falls, but soon to be a fifth and sixth within the next couple months. I have a wicked long story but it all ties together. I look forward to possibly meeting up sometime!

Hey @Corey Stubbs, Very glad to see you actively involved on this platform. I remember that you had been making real estate deals in town stemming from our conversation at Danny White's house several years ago. I have been meaning to reach out to you for some time now to help where I can and learn along the way. I had some intrigue at the time but just hadn't dove head first into investment real estate until a couple years ago. Any how, I would be excited to be apart of any meet up in Great Falls and considered this my kick in the pants to chat some more and see how you and your family have been.

Hi everyone, I wanted to reach out to this thread again as I have been busy with my "other life" of recruiting.
I was thinking about putting on a get-together in the downtown, possibly the Mighty-Mo, sometime mid July. I want to try for a once a month thing that doesn't necessarily have to be a BP event, but is a time to hang around fellow investors or "soon-to-be" investors and share stories. Maybe as we get bigger we can have a structured time of having one person be interviewed similar to a BP podcast and then focus on hang out time afterwards?
Anyone interested? I'm up for suggestions too. Have a great morning everyone!

@Preston Lamb, well next time I'm in Kalispell or the next time you're in Great Falls lets make a point to meet up! I love to hear people's stories and find how we can help each other in the next chapter.

@Caleb Nolte, If you're still in Great Falls we should grab a coffee at Miss Kitty's sometime, it's super close to my current flip and I can give you a walk through after we swap stories for a bit! I'd love to hear how your family has been doing.

Sounds like a plan! On vacation at the moment, but will be back in GF next week. Iv got most Fridays and weekends off maybe we can make one of them work. Very interested to see what you have done with your flip!
Also down for meet ups at Mighty Mo when possible.

Hi again!

I wanted to let you all know that my wife and I will be at the Mighty Mo this Saturday for drinks and pizza, nothing official, nothing fancy. Caroline and I just want to get out and if you want to come join us for some good conversations feel free to meet with us! If you can't make it this time that's fine, I plan to host more official and unofficial meet-ups in the near future. Let me know if you want to come and if you're bringing people so I can prepare the folks at the Mo as what to expect. I can't host anything too large as of yet as most establishments still have pretty heavy restrictions. Caroline and I will be wearing BiggerPockets tshirts, more than likely something about BRRRR on them, so that should help you to find us.

Anyone show up? I am in Texas for a couple weeks and would love to meet up sometime. We had a pretty decent group 4 or 5 years ago and it’s kind of dwindled since. Some people get bored or just don’t get started on their first deal. I’m as excited as I was day one and I know a number of folks that would love to come and chat.

No, no one has shown yet, but I was expecting that this time with everyone’s schedules. I do however expect more folks to come in our future meet ups. I would love to have more folks than just BP members show up and if you want to share my info/post that’d work just fine. I actually flipped a house in Chinook MT last year and flew in to Great Falls. The bar with the swimming mermaids was a cool old school bar!

@Greg H. I apologize for the late reply, I had a really good discussion that lead into the wee hours of the night with an old timey investor and didn’t want to cut him short.
YES! We do still have the mermaid bar downtown, and from time to time piano Pat still blesses us with her piano playing.
I’m currently working on my fourth flip house here in Great Falls. I’m curious how your last project in Chinook went. I love seeing people’s projects and hearing their stories. Would love to talk more sometime on how you decided to do a flip outside of where you live.

@Peter D. We will have to see, I’m always down for a good story and meet up I just need to ensure I’m available for that day. I’ll let you know more on Monday on what I can/can’t do. Until then, have a great weekend! It’s been beautiful here for the last week!

@Austin Elm, will do! I think I’m going for a monthly meet up. First couple just to generate interest and have folks meet up and have a couple drinks together and see where it goes from there about providing structure to the meet ups. Have an awesome day!

Looking forward to doing another one soon and meeting some of you awesome peoples! Caroline and I met with some folks briefly who were asking what our BiggerPockets shirts were about, we had new folks directly messaging us on BiggerPockets if we had met that night and if we would let them know about the next one, and then I met up with another investor at the UFC fights later that night. It was still an event filled evening for sure.
We will do this again for sure, have an awesome night everyone!

Hi everyone! I wanted to say I have not forsaken the local BP folks! I have been extremely busy with my main job recruiting for the Air National Guard. I would still love to keep putting together things and I'm thinking about posting something up for the end of this month. Hope everyone is well and I hope to hear more about your stories soon!
