Every article you read about real estate investing trends makes some mention to emerging technology and its potential impact for REI. So my question for the BP community is this.
If there was ONE app every real estate investor absolutely HAS to have, what would it be?
Or which app has made the biggest difference for you as an RE investor this year?
@Troy Williams This is the first time I've ever seen Richblockspoorblocks. I'll be stuck staring at these maps for a while today. Very interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.
@Tatyana M. That sounds incredibly helpful. I once ran a restaurant in Malibu which had been in business for 25+ years and often an older piece of refrigeration or cooking equipment would have the Model info rubbed away over time from scrapping against the wall. When it came time or order a new part or call for a service it was such a pain not having this info readily available.
Seems great for all RE investors but I imagine this would be incredibly helpful for investors taking on older multifamily properties with a lot of appliances.
I agree. I think Trello is really easy on the eyes and simple to use. I like the way you see all of the different categories of leads on one page and simply drag.
For multi-family property owners, Invictus. It's a keyless digital access system for communities where residents can remotely open the various entry points, and management can keep track of who is entering the property (not to mention it eliminates the cost and headache of having to deal with gate keys and fobs!). Great overall system with a ton of features and integrations.
@Alex Bekeza. For scanning - CamScanner is a great free scanning app. Take pic of documentation and can save as pdf even and email automatically. Simple and free!
I use docscan in the iOS app store for scanning and sending paperwork. Also use a basic mortgage calculator app, as well as the BP tools available, however, DealCheck.io appears to be a great alternative and potentially less costly. Who has a nice and simple real estate portfolio analysis app or software recommendation? Would be awesome if it connected to some sort of valuation software as well as my bank accounts to track pay off and thus generate performance results.
