Stained Concrete Floors In Rentals
From your experience, are there any downsides to stained concrete floors in your rental?

@Michael Ewers, from my experience around rental properties, the thing I’d think about most is not whether the concrete itself will last. It probably will. I’d think about how easy it is to make it look good again after a few years and a few tenants.
That’s where certain finishes can become frustrating. If one area gets worn, stained, chipped, or needs a repair, matching the original stain and sealer can sometimes be harder than expected. You can end up with a floor that is still perfectly functional but looks patched.
Over time, I’ve started looking at rental finishes a little differently. I ask not only, “Will this hold up?” but also, “How easy will this be to refresh between tenants without redoing the whole thing?”
If the stained concrete still wins on both of those, then I can see it being a very practical choice.
