Every text ends with ':)' and due to the poor grammar, it feels very scammy, and I think twice about looking somewhere else; she says that the minimum lease length that I can do without paying extra per month is 10 months-- but they haven't updated it on their website yet.

It isn't the most crazy type of fake booking we have had but a simple reply to them via the VRBO platform with a list of nearby amenities wouldn't hurt.Sometimes I am surprised by guests grammar and word usage.

Most of these scammers are overseas and not English speakers, and you can tell by their grammar and word usage, or they use very short sentences so they don't have to say much.
