How to find a partner?

Im in Denver, CO. How can I go about finding a partner?
Theres really only 1 meetup that is well known for Real Estate here I know of which is usually the same people each time and relitively small.

Any other ways to go about this, or should I just continue to attend meetups?

Don't be eager to jump in a partnership, a lot of dating has to take place before you get married.

I think it is important to know firsthand why you wanted a partnership and how it would work well with what your goals are. If there really isn't any need to a partnership, I would just try to find a mentor doing what I want to do. You could start growing your network and look on Facebook/BiggerPockets for different events.

I personally like to try to set up every month a meeting with someone I think I can learn from or who could be a potential mentor.

I always come full of questions and ready to learn. Many are specific to the individual that I am meeting with but there are some questions that I have taken from John Maxwells book "Good Leaders Ask Great Questions."

You may want to use them too:

1. What is the greatest lesson you have learned? - By asking this question, I seek their wisdom.

2. What are you learning now? - This question allows me to benefit from their passion.

3. How has failure shaped your life? - This question gives insight into their attitude.

4. Who do you know whom I should know? - This allows me to engage with their network.

5. What have you read that I should read? - This question directs my personal growth.

6. What have you done that I should do? - This helps me seek new experiences.

7. How can I add value to you? - This shows my gratitude and desire to add value to them.

These can be a great starting point for you. You never know if someone will say yes or not until you ask. Be bold and ask people to meet up.

Idk what meetups you go to, I go to at least 1 a week and each have tons of people. If you look on Meetup.com you will find the badass investor network, there are meetups all over the metro, but the one in Denver always has 50+. There are also quite a few in the DTC and castle rock that have many people as well.
