Should I transfer out of state properties to my LLC based in my home state?

I am beginning to set up an LLC in North Carolina (my home state) and I am wondering if I should transfer a piece of land (out of state in Colorado) into the new LLC.

My family and I live close to the South Carolina state line and if I purchase something in SC in the future, is it ok to put it into my NC LLC?
