Hi BP community,
My husband and I run GOAT Renovations, a high-end residential contracting business in Ottawa, ON. We specialize in quality renovations, additions, and custom builds — and we’re now looking to expand into house flipping.
We've got the construction expertise, design eye, and project management systems in place — but we're seeking guidance (and connections) on bringing in angel investors or JV partners to help finance our first few flips.
We’re open to creative deal structures and are committed to transparency, communication, and delivering excellent results.
What’s the best way to start building relationships with angel investors?
Are there any platforms, events, or approaches that have worked well for you? We’d also love to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar position — how did you get your first investor on board?
