Hello. I am in the process of assembling a team. Looming to het into my first property through flipping and brrrr strategies. I was introduced to a hard money lender. This is my first time working with one and I wanted to know what's the best way to verify the legitimacy of the lender?

Look at the process. Watch for red flags, like asking for large upfront fees before underwriting or a lack of transparency.
