Thanks to everyone involved at BP. Especially @Joshua D. (I miss you on the podcast) and @Brandon Turner. I have been working to get involved in real estate for the last 8 years. I listened to every podcast at least 4 or 5 times over those years. I know most of you would think why did it take that long.

It should not have taken that long but I've never known anybody that owned property, not even a car. I grew up in deep poverty in rural south Georgia and never knew about owning anything. I also didn't understand personal finance. I definitely didn't understand real estate finance. Had to go through a complete mind shift (still growing every day).

I've grown a lot in many different areas and I know @Mindy Jensen and @Scott

@Scott Trench changed my life with the money podcast. It really helped me get my personal finances together which allowed me to use my personal financial position to purchase this property.

I closed on a triplex 2 days ago and I'm still on BP for hours listening to all the BP advice on what to do every step. I hope to continue to build portfolio so I can build wealth for my family and leave something to my kids. Also spread this mindset to others that have never came anywhere close to understanding the power of real estate.

Thanks BP! Yall are great people and really are changing lives for generations of people.

Congratulations @Byron Scott! That's great to hear that the money show was helpful and great that you are on your way to building a great real estate portfolio. I expect you have a mountain of work ahead of you, but also that the snowball is beginning to pick up and start accelerating for you!

    @Byron Scott,

    Hey! Great work! Congratulations! On to the next property ... (properties?)

    Wanna help others like yourself facing similar challenges?

    Consider ...

    When folks see someone achieve a worthy goal like that, there's one question they always ask, and that one question consistently stops everyone cold, dead in their tracks: "How?" (... did you do it)

    As much as you can while the memories are still reasonably fresh, create a timeline of EVERY STEP you took, every thought that crossed your mind as well as you can recall and what you did to take those steps and act on those thoughts.

    Write it all down - on paper, on a laptop / tablet / computer, whatever - and find someone to help you organize it. Even if you just end up with an e-book or something you can offer as a download, you'll be helping everyone who comes from similar beginnings.

    Just a suggestion ...

    @Byron Scott  Wow, sir, you are phenomenal! BRAVO!!! I'm sooo proud of you. If I may suggest to remember to teach your children how (through influencing them to get on BP, etc.) and not only give them the fruits of your hard work.
