New Logo - Thoughts?

I've got two logos that I've created and like them both, and I thought I'd run them by you guys and get your input. Business name is: Bartlett Rental Properties, since my focus is on rental properties.

Thoughts everyone?

I like the first one, it's very clean and simple. The second one is creative but it's a bit hard on my eyes.
