Driving me crazy more and more is seeing people shorten 'advertisement' to 'add.'

I'd like to see a spell checker on BP, but I can't remember why Josh said it would be a problem. At any rate...as long as a word is spelled correctly, it wouldn't help much in making sure you used the word correctly! As the world's official worst speller, I always paste it to Word for a spell check! When I spell everything correctly, I give myself a :D!
    (BTW…this one came back 100% ok! :D )

I think the majority of things I see are grammar problems instead of misspelled words. My grammar isn't the greatest, but I can stumble through most things I am trying to get to flow from my brain.

The contractions are definitely a big problem area though.

My big thing is my poor typing.
I am constantly placing one letter before another. My biggest type error is and (nad) Mispelled words are frustrating when you see you made them, but this thread is more about improper words used. If someone was trying to say right, like "I turned right", but wrote write (as in I would like to write a response), they have not misspelled a word, but used the wrong word.

"Alot" instead of "a lot" is very common too.

I justed looked at my status and I used to and not two. I would like to think that is a typo.

I can't spell well, but I was just reading the wholesaling forum and found it was common to use "no" when they mean "know." I guess it sounds the same.

I meant to misspell that one lol. I'm surprised you didn't notice that I said you're instead of your.

Or maybe you are getting less attentive at your age   :joker:
